Giving Tuesday Charleston: Donate, Share, or Help us Fundraise Online!

Join us virtually on November 29th – Giving Tuesday, Charleston – and help us raise funds to support Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic! You can donate to our free clinic here, or share our Facebook fundraiser – or even create your own on Facebook to increase awareness about our free clinic while inspiring friends and family across the lowcountry to give, too!

BIFMC treats uninsured adults who live and work on Johns, James and Wadmalaw islands, Folly Beach, or work in the hospitality industry of downtown Charleston, providing on-going, high quality heath care from our volunteer physicians. For every $1 raised, our free clinic is able to provide $8 in care (that’s your donation, times 8!) with 86 cents of every dollar going directly to patient care. On #GivingTuesday, Facebook’s donation platform, ‘Network For Good,’ will waive any service fees, so all proceeds will go to our clinic directly. We hope you consider sharing our fundraiser with your friends and family!
